Plan
You need to plan. And to plan you need a ‘Facilitator’.
A ‘Facilitator’ is an adult who will help and advise you every step of the way.
But it’s your project remember. Facilitators are there in the background as support for you.
But don’t forget the rules!
Keyfund pays for enthusiastic and focused young people to manage and ‘bring to life’ interesting projects which will teach them a thing or two.
Is your project going to teach you new skills? And what skills are they? Your Facilitator will help you with this.
If you are really organised, show you can communicate well with your colleagues and other people involved in the project – things like that – then that’s good enough for us.
Your Facilitator will help you get your project to a point where a panel of other adults will decide if you can be supported.
It’s all a bit ‘x-factor’ isn’t it! (But much less scary)
The process is very fast too. Some groups have been in front of a panel in just a few days.
