What’s a good Keyfund project to do if I am aged between 19 and 25 years old?

If you’re stuck for ideas here are some examples of what other people between the ages of 19 and 25 have done before.

Here’s where we’d expect great things (but we’ll help you lots too!) Young people in this age group really can change the world perhaps more than any other.

We talk about Posh and Becks, Richard Branson, Dizzee Rascall, Lewis Hamilton and more. This lot started to really make their mark in their late teens and early 20’s. Have a think – whilst you may not love what they do – you can’t deny they are successful (just check out their bank balances!)

Get down to business

Have a serious think about how you or your team could start a small business or turn a hobby into a money making scheme. You’ll need to be organised and to be resilient. Things will go wrong and you’ll need to smile and get on with it! Have you got what it takes to succeed?

Turn failure into success

One group of young people approached a library which was closing down and devised a project to use the thousands of ‘homeless’ books in a school library. Lots of people benefited from a great idea.

If a group of young people can’t meet in one place because it’s closing down, is there a way that you can help them to meet and have fun somewhere else?

Celebrate!

Why not organise an event for yourselves or other people? If a whole group of you turn 21 in the same year, celebrate with a group get together – maybe by doing 21 great things for the community as a spin off, or taking 21 people less advantaged than yourself somewhere special?
